IMPROVING SCHOOL CHOICE

Welcome! After nearly a year of community conversations and data-driven analysis, the External Advisory Committee overwhelmingly voted to recommend a new model for school assignment on February 25. The Superintendent presented the recommendation to the Boston School Committee for consideration on February 27. In the coming weeks, the School Committee will vote on the recommendation, following public hearings.

This website is designed to help families of children, elementary school-aged and younger, to understand what this proposed “Home Based” model might mean for you.
